for EECS berkeley majors, help!

<p>Yes, CS 61A is the first major requirement for EECS majors, but it assumes prior programming background. In fact, there will be a short placement exam (more like a quiz) the first day involving recursion. If you have no programming experience, CS 3L would prepare you for 61A.</p>
