For internationals: Funny for English-speakers to not have accent?

I love the French language but when I speak, I sound "American" if you know what I mean.
Like in Spanish, I would say "a-ROZE" instead of "ARRRRRRRRRROZ" (rolling tongue).
I would try but there would be those rare times I would slip, unveiling my American-ness.

So, my international friends, do you think it's funny when American's speak your language with an American accent?

Or offended that they don't even try?

A foreign accent is interesting and cute, but grammatical mistakes annoy the crap out of me. (May we continue the conversation in English, please?)

I think it’s funny, but not in a mean-spirited way. In my eyes, people get bonus points already just for trying to communicate in the other person’s language, no matter how good or bad they’re at it.

I think it’s funnier when people here are simply AMAZED that I don’t have an accent when I speak English and I tell them I’m from Korea and not the US.
