First, a bit of explanation: In my spare time I enjoy woodcrafting. Most of my creations are small models, letter openers, toys, cars, etc. Next year I hope to begin making clocks. I also do some larger stuff though, including porch rockers. I've been doing it for about six years.

Anyway, I am looking at picking up a few new non-power saws soon (already have power saws: a bandsaw, jigsaw, two circular saws, and a table saw). I've seen Stanley FatMax saws on the shelves at Home Depot/Lowe's for a few years now and want to know if they are any good. They look nice, but just looking for a few opinions out there if anyone's ever used these saws.

Also, does anyone know a place where I can get coping saw blades in bulk? I've looked everywhere--the warehouses, the indie stores...just packs of four. I eat these blades up quickly, the coping saw is my weapon of choice for many of my small models.
