For people who cannot see their finaid summary in ursa

It seems like (almost) everyone can view their finaid summary in ursa...
I really doubt if this means acceptance..

For people who cannot view their finaid summary please reply here and tell us ur major!

This did mean acceptance for previous years and this year’s freshman applicants. I have 3.94, Communications. TAP certified (alternative major - Sociology). Nothing for me yet!

I can’t see it… Anthro major

Will they continue to update it until the official admissions decisions are released?

yubo why can’t it mean acceptance? well sure hope it does! and I hope you can see it or that you can get accepted.

Finaid summary in URSA is acceptance. Look at transfer decisions last year, look at freshman decisions this year.

3.946 gpa biz econ. fafsa not avail here

i guess we have to wait till monday people… for now keep on pulling your hair till you go bald. or just cut your wrists every hour you don’t see your fafsa like i do. ;D

EVERY person who can see the FA summary has either a very respectable gpa or a decent gpa/tap. people are just afraid of saying that they havent recieved anything yet and others enjoy bragging that they can see it which is why you see such a disproportionate #.

KingInc could you see Finaid on URSA? remember everything is on a rolling basis. so only because you don’t see it does not mean that you are rejected, but it also means that for the one’s who could see it, means a good indication of being admitted.

I don’t have a theory but for UCI, i was able to see my FINAID summary only after being accepted. Info given were details on loans, scholarships and grants being offered and the ability to decline or accept these offers. An email of admittance was first sent then an email to take a look at the summary and respond.

Logically, because of the amount of applicants, it would make no sense for FIN AID to process applications that would later on be rejected. But then again, it depends on the depth of that “processing”. If it’s simple data entry, they can just pull all info for the next step of evaluation.

As far as I’m concerned, no request and no summary (as of yet, cross my fingers). niete.

major: IDS

How are you guys even seeing this information? I registered with URSA, and when I log in it says -
"Our records indicate that you do not have access to use URSA at this time…

Are you a new UCLA Student, a former UCLA Student, a UCLA Alumnus?

You must have your 9-digit UCLA Identification Number associated with your UCLA Logon ID to access URSA. You can find this number…"

When I try to log into My UCLA (with the same login)-

“You do not currently have access to MyUCLA. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you are receiving this message in error, please contact our Help Desk at 310-206-4525 or by email at MyUCLA@college.ucla.edu.”

This could be because of two reasons -

 1. I’ve been rejected.
 2. When I registered with URSA, I checked the box that said " do not have a UCLA Identification Number and I am NONE OF THE ABOVE. Accounts created without a UCLA ID number can be used to authenticate to many UCLA applications, but are not generally eligible to receive campus services." I checked that box because I don’t know where to find my 9 digit UCLA ID number.

Is there some kind of trick you all are using to see your financial aid information that I’m not aware of?

“But then again, it depends on the depth of that “processing”. If it’s simple data entry, they can just pull all info for the next step of evaluation” sure hope this is a wrong statement. I really hope though that even though you can’t see your finaid summary, that you will get in. good luck

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, nobody could see myucla yet. It doesn’t mean that you are rejected, its just that you have done the steps wrong.

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■, I did the same thing i opted for the wrong choice (I checked the box that said " do not have a UCLA Identification Number and I am NONE OF THE ABOVE. )…but now i’m in.

you need to select the first option NEW UCLA student (included admitted students) . If you don’t know your UCLA ID number, go here enter the requested info and you’ll find your 9-digit UCLA Identification Number on the top right corner of that letter. https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.aspxy

Then go back to URSA and sign up again.

I can’t see it and I’m a nursing major. I don’t know if I contact the financial office or the interdepartmental financial office from SON

i have a 3.8 gpa, major in history, and TAP certified.
i don’t see my fin aid report…

is it possible for somebody who hasn’t filed for FAFSA or any financial aide stuff to have a finaid summary?

^ nope…

I can’t see it yet, but it is on a rolling basis so I won’t be worried until say Wednesday when official decisions should come out.

Major: Sociology
GPA: 3.8
Pre-reqs and IGETC done

It is obvious by most of the stats. for people who cannot see it that they will see it sooner or later because there is no way a person with a 3.8, History major and tap certified would be rejected (Idee). Just like with UCSD releasing decisions on a rolling basis and everybody got so excited to get accepted with those people in the background going hey what about me, this will happen eventually it’s just a matter of waiting.

sweetness… if i was planning on finishing up my igetc in the summer would this go against me? I finished my pre-reqs but i was planning on finishign my last igetc course in the summer…
