For the UCs: 3.0 Unweighted and no Ds and Fs right?

Those are the minimum requirements for seniors right?

Just asking because three friends of mine got a Fail last semester in AP Calc and one of them got a D in Macroeconomics. Does that mean that they will automatically get rescinded from the UCs that they got accapted?

i think Ds or Fs in UC courses are automatic rescind. but you should check with the school. one of my friends last year got a D in english his senior year, and UCI told him to take a makeup class at a local community college and get a C or better if he wished to attend.

UCI has low standards.

Oh alright thank you for informing me. I lied about the friends part by the way hahaha.

^ lol........

One of my friends did something similar with the CC class after receiving a D in one of her classes for second semester. (UCLA)

Well I hate the kid with the D and the F and I had to tell him that he was going to get rescinded from the UCs that he got in. Oh and it's impossible for him to get above a 3.0 unweighted so that pretty much means he wont get in right?

Don't be so sure. I got into Davis with two F's, a D, and a withdrawal. A friend of mine got into San Diego got in with a couple D's. (Didn't apply to SD myself.) These were grades explicitly stated in the application.

What's important if it happens is that you have a legitimate reason and make it exceedingly clear to them what that reason is.

haha, a bit eager to inform your "friend" about his probably rescindment eh?

Would SD or LA rescind your acceptance if you dropped a couple of AP classes second semester? I sent them a letter notifying them of this early in February, so they should have already been aware of my decisions right?
