Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

AFTER SUBMISSION
How do I apply to additional campuses after submitting my application?

Submit your request in writing to the application processing service. Note your application ID number, Social Security Number, additional campuses to which you wish to apply, major(s), and major code(s). Enclose a check or money order for $60 ($70 for international applicants) for each additional campus you select, payable in U.S. dollars to "The Regents of the University of California." You may not substitute new choices for your original choices. Your request will be honored only if the campuses you choose still have space available. The processing service will notify you about whether your additional choices were available. Do not submit a second application form; it will not be processed.

Write to:

Can I make changes to my application after I submit it?
You may make changes online to some of your personal/background information about four to five weeks after you submit your application by using the Application Status website. For more information, see the APPLICATION STATUS section below. If you do not have access to the Internet at the time you wish to make these changes, you may submit changes to your personal/background information in writing to:

If your academic information changes (this includes courses, grades, attendance at another school, or attendance at the same school for an additional term), submit the changes in writing to the Admissions Office of each campus to which you applied.

Calling the admissions office for those schools might be easier.
