I'd like to get an idea of what a UMich student's high school career looks like. What was your ACT score, cumulative GPA, total amount of AP courses, were you in-state or out-of-state, and what was your list of extra-curricular activities. Please specify your total amount of volunteer hours! Thanks!

Don’t everyone answer at the same!

@kingkhan11 the problem is that students tend to drop off CC once they’re attending university. There may be a few out there…I’m curious too but perhaps you should review old admission results threads.

32
3.8
5?
OOS
volunteered for 3 organizations

nothing special
LSA

Stats really vary widely. As for me,
SAT: 2210 (1520 CR + Math)
3.9 UW
5 AP Courses
No extracurriculars/leadership (went to school and went home) but 500+ volunteer hours
OOS

I’m really thinking it’s just the GPA and test scores.

Let’s refresh this thread since everyone was admitted yesterday shall we?

ACT 33
GPA 3.98 UW
ECs: nothing special, sports, volunteering, paid part time job

ACT: 26
GPA: 4.0 UW
APs: 4 Junior, 5 Senior Year
In-State
ECs: President of Robotics Team (I applied to the College of Engineering)

I would guess I got in because I came from a rather crappy high school in Michigan (average ACT of 17), and I showed great interest in engineering through my essays.
