<p>Model United Nations team ends competitive year in first-place position</p>

<p>After being neck-and-neck with Harvard University for second-place positions at the first four conferences this year, Chicago’s Model United Nations team came in first place over spring break at its final competition, hosted by the University of California at Berkeley.</p>

i'm so glad that i'm going to be a part of such a talented mun team.</p>

<p>that's so excitinggggg. who else is going to do MUN? i know there were several of us on the xanga blogring planning on it.</p>

<p>Awesome! I know a physics major who is in MUNUC, and he didn't even tell me the news. Congrats to the UChicago team!</p>

<p>Its pretty fun. Besides the "learning" aspect to it, you dress up and are in a formal environment that is usually pretty nice. I did it all throughout HS, and last year we went to the real United Nations for the conference...it was pretty sweet. I sat in the same seat my country's delegate would sit in the real GA1 assembly.</p>
