<p>Hey I think you can help me. I’m trying to transfer to UCSB and prior to transfer all my required courses will be completed. But I will be taking the second transferable English course in Spring2013 (Prior to transfer) and on my transcript it’s going to say “In Progress”. I’ve heard that UCSB wants you to finish english/math requirements during Fall before you transfer. Is it true? I’m currently taking first transferable English course and I will get an “A” in the class. Do I still have a good chance to get into UCSB? My GPA is 3.50 and major GPA is 3.41. Any chance? Please I need help.

<p>Yes I think they want it done Fall 2012. You have a shot at all those schools except probably UCLA. Avg gpa for biz Econ is 3.92 and reg Econ is around 3.7. Apply anyways, you still have a chance.</p>
