When that happened, I then went to ratemyprofessor.com

Sometimes, they weren't on that site either. I suppose that means that they're new or something.

In that case, try to find someone who already took the course/professor combination and ask him/her. Generally, the website is quite accurate, but I've noticed at least a few exceptions (in my opinion). Perhaps that professor is new (as was the case with one of my professors last semester).

how was the shower situation? was there enough time for everyone to take a shower easily or did people all have to line up/wait?

AzNChoiBoi8... It was very easy to take a shower. As a girl, I expected there to be a line, but there never was. In fact, the 2 mornings that I did take a shower, I was the only girl in the shower room. I imagine it was the same for guys. Although, the morning of day 2, I woke up later than most cuz they didn't have a tour for Birnkrant, so that could account for the total lack of people showering. I don't think anyone actually waited in line. Some people just went to a different bathroom. There were quite a few.

I like senatecourseguide.com better as a reference. ratemyprofessor had mostly negative comments, but senatecourseguide.com was pretty even when it came to good vs. bad reviews. I feel like a lot of people just go to ratemyprofessor.com to complain, but that's just me.

I second the near-vacant restrooms comment. out of all the times i went to the shower room for whatever reason, only once did i ever see another living being - it was a bit strange feeling actually, to have a public restroom all to yourself like that

Yeah, bathrooms were ghost towns. Maybe some of the really local people just waited to shower at home...? I doubt they'll be like that during the year, but my host from Explore said that she NEVER had to wait in line to shower the entire year she lived in Pardee.

i never encountered a soul in the bathrooms either... i showered a lil past midnight both nights
