I have noticed many past questions on this board (and many debates) about the Lincoln Center campus being "harder" to get into or having "higher" admissions standards. Can you shed light on this topic so everyone will know once and for all. Thank you

only a guess but I think it is due to the drama department being at LC. Another reason may be the much smaller size of the program there?

The reason is the limited availability of housing at Lincoln Center. The admissions standards, however, are exactly the same.

Space in the incoming class has some firm limits. One of these is the space we have for resident students at Lincoln Center, 210 beds. As you might imagine, this makes our selection for these spaces that much more challenging.

With that said, we would encourage students to apply for the campus in which they are most interested in attending. Overthinking these aspects of the admissions process only leads to speculation and stress that, in the end, is unhelpful to applicants.

210 beds....that's it??

For new freshmen

have you been there strawberry? Rose Hill is a very large campus -old and new buildings, grassy lawn, big big trees, a football field.
LC is AT Lincoln Center, taking up the block just past the plaza. Remember Fordham runs buses back and forth - you would have access to the city no matter what.
On the right as you face the place is Juilliard School. one dorm, around 450 students but probably the dorm holds 200 or less. In the center is the big fountain, Met Opera, NY Philharmonic. On the left are halls for NY Ballet and NY Opera.(I think..dizzy trying to be clear) On the left, past the plaza are Fordham Law and Fordham's Lincoln Center campus with it's one dorm.
According to the NYTimes I think they are paving over St. Peter's Garden and expanding eventually.
oops silly me. after trying to describe it I saw there is a little map.

oo ok, i thought the 210 beds were for all students at LC, not just freshmen.
