how is the communcation and media program at the lincoln center campus?

Fordham’s communications program altogether is very highly regarded. They run their own station WFUV and have produced many talents. Perhaps, you might want to look at Syracuse too. But with proximity to the city and internship opportunities, you cannot go wrong with Fordham.

My D looked at several schools for communication and media studies and chose Fordham at LC for several reasons. First, its location. If you are truly interested in pursuing a career in those areas, proximity to Manhattan (hello the campus is in Lincoln Center!) is paramount for internship, job opportunities, etc. Their program is highly regarded, but I do have to add that their station WFUV is at the Rose Hill campus, not at LC. One school that also has a great reputation for a good communication program is Penn State, but, honestly, Happy Valley vs Manhattan? No brainer. Also, the classes are small so you get to know your professors very well, which, again, helps with making connections, getting recommendations, networking, etc.
