I was recentley accepted into Fordham University's College of Business Administration and Bentley College's Honors Program. I also received a 1/2 tuition scholarship at Bentley. I received no money at Fordham... =(

Although I am not certain about what I want to major in, I think it will probably be accounting or finance.

I would be nearly sure that I would go to Bentley except for the fact that they seem EXTREMELY unknown to many people in my area (NY suburb).

I know that Fordham is obviously more well known in NY and I THINK that I'd like to work in New York when I'm older. My thinking is that since Fordham is more well known, it will be easier for me to find a high paying job.

I'm a bit confused though because Bentley was ranked #11 by Princeton Review for "Best Career/Job Placement Services"

To be honest, I don't know if I really want to work in NY years from now, but I don't know what it would be like in Boston (Bentley is 15 mins away).

i have asked LOTS of people if they have heard of betley an most say no. about 1 or 2 in 10 say yes they have heard of it. im still gonna go to bentley because it is an amazing school and i am very sure u can get a great job coming out of bentley. i have never heard of fordham too.

Fordham CBA is a SUPERB school with AMAZING contacts. I can't remark about Bentley as I dont know anything about it.

Fordham has a beautiful campus on Rose Hill, the kids all matriculate and live amongst the Liberal Arts students, and engage in all the sports as well.

To me its not a difficult choice, but I dont know what your financial picture is.

But yes, Fordham kids have amazing internships which often turn into amazing jobs in Manhattan.

Its a tough school...very rigorous. So come prepared to work hard.

Bentley is a VERY good school. Frankly, for business, I think it is a better school than Fordham. Both schools have been improving over the years.

However, if Bentley were $10,000 or more less expensive than Fordham, which seems to be the case, take Bentley and NEVER look back. I actually ran the numbers. Since you would pay about $16,500 to Bentley and $34,000+ to Fordham, you would save $18,000 per year! This also doesn't take into account tuition increases each year. For $18,000 per year, take Bentley!

My only concern with Bentley is NOT the educational quality. My concern is that it is a very small school, which you may or may not like.
