-30 ACT
-Applying EA
My ECs are somewhat insignificant:
-Volunteering at a bunny sanctuary
-Tutoring
-Treasurer and Secretary of Drama Club
-President of Spanish Club
-Shadowing a doctor
Number-wise, I think I’m OK, but I heard Fordham values ECs, but, as you can see, I have a few but they’re largely insignificant.

I dont like chance me threads. Either people with uber stats are fishing for applause or you have wannabes really stretching and its difficult to tell them to go fishing somewhere else.
Fordham is a private catholic Jesuit school. Being OOS is of no bearing to them, like it is with state flagships. However, Fordham is always looking for diversity in geographics, while also courting some of their traditional feeder schools (local and out of state).
You are fine. Scholarships are based on SAT/ACT scores and I dont know how a 30 SAT stacks up for scholarship money. Make sure you file the FAFSA so that you can get grant money in case a scholarship isnt in the offing.
You shouldn’t worry about getting in EA, you have a fair shot. I got in last year and currently attend Fordham and my EC’s were lacking as well but I was accepted earlier than most (around November) and received a nice 25k scholarship. I had a 31 ACT and my GPA was around a 3.8, but you shouldn’t worry about your acceptance.
The bunny sanctuary EC is actually pretty cool. I think you have a good shot, anyway. The middle 50% for Fordham is 26-30, so you’re up there.
