I live in NY (not NYC) and I still haven’t heard back from admissions. My friend who goes to my school received her acceptance mail yesterday… Im wondering why I stil haven’t received mine. Are there any folks out there with a similar situation as me? I really cannot wait to hear back!

i live in NY , not NYC either and still havent gotten it . i got into my ED school so i dont really care but still i wanna know lol

From south NJ and still haven’t heard, all of my friends have though <_<

Do you know if Fordham sends out acceptance and rejection letters at the same time? Because I have not heard from them either but one person in the same boarding school has and he got accepted. My other friend hasn’t heard either. So we are so nervous.
Please help!

Omg now im starting to get nervous i havent heard from anyone (including cc forums) who got rejected. Everyone who received it is in… Am i expecting another rejection letter? O god… :@

My 1st acceptance!

Also, did they email you first? They did that for me & then I got my official letter yesterday.

Deferred! 1970 SAT, 3.0 W GPA (very competitive NYC high school), lots of ECs, great recs.

Accepted!
1190 SAT (2 parts), 3.7 uw GPA, strong ECs & reccomendations, freshman/sophomore year at a private catholic school and junior/senior year at a public school. I’m sooooo excited!! Fordham is my absolute dream school!

Two sons applied. One was accepted, but the package went to the wrong address. Someone corrected the address and it arrived in our mail tonight. The other son has not heard a thing. They both applied in early September using the Your Choice application. They never got the email that would let them know how to check their status online (according to the various posts in College Confidential, no one received that email).

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Has anyone been rejected? Any suggestions as to what to do? I guess I’ll go ahead and call Fordham on Monday. Meanwhile the one who was accepted is upset (and actually hid his acceptance) because he knows how badly his brother wants to hear.

i would sent an email @mama3boys…i remember hearing somewhere on this forum that fordham stressed not to call them unless absolutely necessary since it apparently slows down the application process. If one son go tin, there is a very chance the other son did as well. i commend your son for being such a good brother to hide his acceptance letter and being understanding. i would try to email them and hopefully they’ll answer back, if not, then go ahead with the calls. i know that it is very tough to deal with the anticipation but i commend you for being very patient. best of luck to you and your sons!

I’m in upstate NY and I haven’t heard anything yet :(

Same boat here as Mama, Grgle, kman, telldr, codus, adababy and others - 60 miles out of Nyc and no word today. If you know someone who has been accpeted #1 congratulatuions to them!; #2 ask them to log in to My fordham.edu https://my.fordham.edu/cp/home/displaylogin. If the have a tab tht says “admitted student” then I’d say those of us that don’t are in for bad news. If they don’t then we can keep on hoping. Either way I’d like to know. I posted this at #65 and nobody replied. Come on guys!

@jmustang13…I have been accepted and I do have a tab that says “admitted student.” I wouldn’t give up hope though! Good luck!

I’m in the same boat! Received a letter saying application was complete October 28 and haven’t heard anything since. Did anyone receive an email with information on how to check your status online?

Upon going to the link supplied above for My Fordham and creating a password for your personal ID that they would have sent you with any emails or mailings (first initial, last name, number), you will be able to see if you were admitted. If you are admitted, there is a tab that says “Admitted Students” and you will also be able to make a deposit

I guess my issue is, I am unable to access anything without the personal ID which they never sent.

SAME ISSUE. I didn’t even know that existed. I only got the letter that said “don’t call us, we’ll call you”.

My friend from across town got in today but I didn’t get a letter. No mail on Sunday is only a bad thing when you’re desperately awaiting something.
