Yes, my daughter was able to go in tonight and sign up (on the link provided above) without a code. We had a code that was sent to us a while back because there was something missing from her file but that one didn’t work. She says she only answered questions such as name and some digits in her SS# and was able to create an account. They obviously recognized the info since her middle name was there once she signed in with her new info. So, thanks to jmustang13 and kman33344 for posting that link and other info!

Unfortunately, she only had an “applied” tab and not an “accepted” one.

I would expect that everyone with a complete file would have a decision by Friday whether it is an acceptance, rejection or deferral. And unfortunately this is one of those situations where you just need to wait for the mail. If you haven’t heard by Wednesday night and are really worried that you are missing something then I would call bc the University will be closing for Christmas the 23rd through January 2nd.

I also don’t think that Myfordham is a foolproof way of determining whether you were accepted or rejected, although if there is a link to pay your enrollment deposit I’d say that is probably a pretty good sign. But this is new this year bc in past years you had to snail mail the deposits. If it just says applied, they may not have updated your info yet…remember they can only do it one applicant at a time…so I don’t think it automatically means you are in for a rejection or deferral.

Congratulations to all those accepted and best of luck to those still waiting! :)

My grandfather graduated from here in 1952 and went on to medical school. I’d love to follow in his footsteps.

Does it say applicant or Applied Student?
Because I made myself an account but it just says Applicant and I don’t think it knows that I have already applied.

I’m in Wisconsin and I received my letter yesterday. I had also received an e-mail in November telling me that I got in. Best of luck to anyone still waiting for letters! And congrats to those who got in! Class of 2016!!!

One word: PATIENCE! (and you can chance yourselves by looking at the class profile from last year on the fordham website. If you are below the 50th percentile of admitted student’s stats, then you are on the bubble and may be deferred. If its much below the 50th percentile you are in trouble unless you have some exceptional situation that is of interest to them, and no: legacy won’t usually cut it. If you are above the 50th percentile you have a reasonably good chance of admission. If you are at the 75th percentile or above, you may well have already heard the good news. But nobody is 100% guaranteed admission. Every year there are stories of who is and isnt admitted and its not an exact science or perfect system.)

Good luck to all. Give the USPS time to deliver the news.

I’m thinking they may have mailed in batches as many colleges do. And if they are moving to a new online system that can cause a lot of delays. Hang in there!

*sovereigns advice above is spot on. It seems Fordham does follow their stats for 99% of applicants- as most colleges do. S used Naviance to get feel for his chances.

Just curious to all those who have received acceptance letters Congrats!..do you all have the “accepted” tab in your myFordham account? Does anyone not have it? Thanks!
