@Anduar3 huh, okay. I’m not worried about it, I was just wondering what could have made my friend get notified early as we have very similar stats.

@dancingwriter I’m national student from NY

@dancingwriter I’m international and I received it

i got accepted

Congrats to everyone! Does anyone know when we’ll receive fin aid info? I got the email and submitted my CSS profile last night, hoping to hear about the nmsf scholarship soon.

Does anyone know when we find out about merit?

We’re supposed to get our financial aid packages by January 31!!

Hey Fazeel,
I applied EA as well, and I was notified two days ago that I was accepted to Fordham! I applied to Gabelli, Rose Hill, and I am a white male from NY. A lot of my classmates applied because they sent out a lot of fee waivers, but Fordham is my top choice so I’m waiting on the financial aid package to come to make my decision.
Good luck to everyone

Also got the email but none of my friends did. 2100 3.5 White Male NY

2200, 3.86, NMSF, registered Chippewa. I didn’t get an email this is totally crushing my hopes for the Ivies.

We are curious as to how many admitted students so far attend Catholic school. We know tw o students in our area who have been admitted and both do.

@Sierrafan I wouldn’t use fordham’s early acceptance as a qualifier for the ivies. There was a post made by sovereigndebt where he/she said that Fordham routinely differs a lot of top applicants who might be applying there as a filler until they get into the ivies. With your stats, you’re definitely competitive

I got accepted and I attend a very large public high school in TX. @lenny2

First of all, congrats to those who got in already. Second, if you have not heard, RELAX. The days of internet applications on the common app have not only increased Fordham’s application pool to over 40k, it also means they are using a lot of rolling admissions instead of the old dump on snail mail on December 19-20. Everyone who applied will hear BEFORE Christmas and some who applied EA will hear earlier…and I have no clue why or how that is done. But it means NOTHING if you have not heard. The best measure of acceptance is looking at the median stats at Fordham for previous classes. If you are above a 1250 SAT your chances are good. The higher the SAT the better the chances. And your gpa above 3.5. There are people with uber stats who are denied or deferred and I cant explain that either…perhaps they think you are headed to an Ivy. College admissions are quirky and weird stuff happens every year at most colleges. People get in and you scratch your head why? And people get deferred and you scratch your head why?

Good luck to all.

My D attends public HS, though she is Catholic which I guess doesn’t hurt.

2090 SAT, 94 GPA, Asian Male from NY, Non-Catholic

Accepted to Fordham Lincoln Center. 2190 SAT. 110 weighted GPA.

guys check your spam folder! I just checked my spam mail and saw my acceptance email from five days ago, and I had no idea I was in! good luck :)

Did u get the e-mail saying to fill out CSS Profile by Dec. 8 @Fazeeeeeeel
