just for future refrence to anyone stalking this website this time next year, grades and test scores aren’t everything. i got in with a weighted 3.4 gpa and a 26 act, but thought i had absolutely no chance based on the reviews i saw on here. as long as your recommendations and extracurriculars and everything are good, don’t give up hope. i will be attending fordham in the fall, and i can’t wait!
Congratulations @katieistired , did you apply for financial aid? I think you applied ED, correct? I agree that EC is an important criteria as well.
If you log onto your my.fordham.edu and click your financial aid tab there may be scholarship money. I did not receive any merit with my acceptance letter, but checked last night and received $16,500 in merit.
Where is that tab?
After you log in, click the applicant tab at the top, scroll down to “my account links” and there is a link “all you need to know about your financial aid”
Okay thank you! There’s still nothing about financial aid/merit for me yet 
once you click on that “all about financial aid” etc, where do you see possible merit aid?
While we are all waiting for more financial aid information to come out, anyone care to share “Why Fordham?” (For real, not like an essay LOL). My son added Fordham on without visiting because of the location and we love Jesuit schools, but we now need more information to decide if he should come to accepted students day. So…what do you all love about it? Drawbacks? He was accepted to Rose Hill campus and will be a psych major, contemplating grad school after. Thanks and congrats all!
@TS0104 Hi! I applied ED to Fordham as poly sci major with a pre law track at Rose Hill. I fell in love with Fordham when I toured- nice kids (and not just the tour guides!), great law school and poly sci program, amazing location, beautiful campus, and just the overall “feel” of the school. I also received a generous scholarship (which was unexpected), but without a scholarship the school is kind of expensive!
I got deferred 
Does Fordham admit many students after being deferred? Or is it uncommon?

Just curious if anyone has seen an update to financial aid on their my.fordham page. One poster above indicated that their’s was provided a couple of weeks ago, but my daughter’s has still not been posted. I know that Fordham indicated by Feb. 1, just wondering if they are sending them out in waves. Thank.
