I have no idea. I love both DC & NY. I'm undecided major-wise. I got into a particular program at American that lets you intern the first semester and that hooks you up with a really good one. I got into the Lincoln campus at Fordham.

any advice? I also am very sheltered, coming from a suburban town so both cities are a little bit of a shock/change for me!

I would say American because of the program you were admitted to, of course you are giving up NYC so that’s tough. I still think American is a better school and you will have an easier time adjusting there than NYC.

Of course if NYC is the issue then you could always intern there. I’ve heard of kids doing that over the summer of commuting by train.

That program at American sounds really appealing. Normally, I’d be kind of torn between the two schools, but the program you got into at American makes me feel like maybe I’d sway in that direction.

Have you visited both campuses yet? Fordham Lincoln Center is a very urban feeling campus - it’s basically a building in Lincoln Center, not a formal “campus” with a grassy quad and etc. It’s got the excitement of its location, though - it’s right in an arts center in NYC, and Broadway is a hop, skip and a jump.

I’ve never been on the AU campus, so I can’t comment on that. Which one made you feel more comfortable?
