Foreign Lang Req for Major?

<p>So I'm planning to be an English major so I'm trying to figure out my possible courseload for the next 2 years in order to transfer. </p>

<p>I get that I can get rid of Foreign Language for my IGETC by bringing in my high school transcript. (I've taken 3 years of Spanish so I'm guessing that would fulfill the requirement, right?) </p>

<p>So I was looking at the course articulation for UCLA and it says that either my 5th quarter of foreign language will be transferrable or my 3rd quarter of foreign language along with two additional courses in foreign language or foreign literature in translation. </p>

<p>So um, does that mean I have to take a language no matter what?</p>

<p>My advice is to pick up a language, especially if you have grad school ambitions.</p>
