Foreign Language Pass/fail

Hey guys I have a really important question,

most colleges require 2 yrs of a foreign language and recommend 3 years.

Do the 3 yrs have to be sequential and do pass/fail credits count for the required foreign langs for college admission?

I have taken French 1 (B) in 8th grade, then I took French 2 on a passfail freshman yr (P), then I took spanish 1 soph yr (P), and took spanish 2 for a grade jr yr (Cplus)

How many foreign language credits for college admission would I have and since I took spanish 2 for a grade does taking spanish 2 for a grade almost erase the fact I took Pass/fail for spanish 1.

Like do any college dont count pass/fail for foreign lang during high school because its a "P"?
As in my situation would it matter i took spanish 1 for pass/fail because I got graded in spanish 2?

anyone?????

There's no strict requirement and just the fact that you took two different foreign languages will not make a college reject you. You might be required to continue one of those languages at college though.
As for your grades, that would depend on how selective that college is.

bump.

I thought there were requirements for all colleges in terms of foreign lang.

There are only really few colleges that have some requirements from which they do not make any exceptions. And you've had 4 years of foreign languages, so don't worry about that too much.
Do you actually take Spanish 3 senior year?
