Foreign Language Requirement - Korean

I'm a 1st year undergrad student majoring in Neuroscience and I was just wondering what would be the easiest way to satisfy my language requirement? I'm most certain I will not be able to pass out of Korean, so I've been thinking about the study abroad program, the intensive summer program, etc. I'm afraid adding a language to my course load during the school year will be a bit tedious. What do you guys think? What is the difficulty level of Korean 1A, 2A, and 3A? I'm Korean and Chinese, but have never learned Korean fluently. I only know the most common phrases and have learned how to read.

I’m korean. Took korean 1A-3A with Mary ssn, shes so chill it was my favorite class. And 20+ of my friends were in it, last yr easiest a’s in my life.

I have 15+ friends taking it this quarter and they say its still super fun, but they say it got a little harder. Still everyone can get an A and most will. Taking it with 3 other classes is fine and a great GPA booster.

Mary ssn is super nice and maybe one of the nicest people you will meet. Just take it to meet her. Hopefully they give her TAs for 1A (she had no TAs last quarter, but has one for 2a this quarter)

There are people who know very little coming in.

Do they still over the extensive korean class during the summer? I think it was korean10 or something? It covers korean 1a-3a, which I believe covers the language requirement. I took it awhile ago and Mary ssn is an awesome prof. She actually helps you learn the language.
