Foreign language requirements

I was kinda disappointed that both UF and USF require 2 years of the same foreign language. I took 1 semester of Spanish from a crappy teacher and, well, ended up dropping at semester. The way I understand it, I can take 1 year of college foreign language to count for the requirement, right? Therefore...

What is the best/fairly easy language to take? I'd rather not do Spanish again, (It was so bad in that class that I started having stress-related illness crap, so I want to stay far far away from that nightmare) so I was thinking either ASL, Latin, or German.

What do you think?

thanks!

If you had difficulty with Spanish, I'd stay away from Latin. Latin is a lot harder than Spanish, but it all depends on the teacher/class. My Spanish teacher this year is a horrible, the class is so hard.. but overall, Latin is much more difficult.

if youre going into law or medicine, take Latin.
