Foreign School Transcripts

Hello everybody,

I will appreciate any advice on the following matter. I've just got admitted to UC Berkeley as a community college transfer student and was asked to send official transcripts from all schools/colleges I attended in the past. Before coming to the US, I enrolled and dropped two community colleges in two different countries, and I was able to get unofficial records from those schools in PDF sent to my email; I was told that they do not send documents overseas. My UCB admission officer says that they only accept official transcripts in sealed envelope sent directly from a foreign institution, and if it is opened, it is not official which means that I am not meeting my transfer conditions.

The only official transcript I am able to get is from the US community college which I am transferring from (GED and all the requirements completed).

So, what can I do in this situation? How it can affect my admission? How it can affect my Financial Aid? If there are students in same situation or those familiar with this kind of problem, please give me some advice.

Thank you very much.
