<p>My daughter just clicked submit a few hours ago for her common app schools. She was celebrating the accomplishment when she remembered that she forgot to add an award she received recently, and it is a fairly significant one. Should she email the admissions offices? If so, would it be better to send the message to the individual admissions reps for her geographic area (in the cases where the names are listed on the websites)?</p>
<p>You should send the appropriate admissions person (who handles your geographic area) an e-mail. If you don't know the right person, just send it to the Admissions Dept. It's NOT a problem -- in fact, having them have to do something special with your file -- like, look at it twice -- can be a plus, not a minus.</p>
