Hey everyone. I was reviewing my high school transcript and discovered that for one of my AP science classes I took in high school, in addition to getting credit from just my high school for the class, I additionally got 3 units of college credit from a CSU because the high school class program I was in collaborated with the CSU’s particular science program, and so it was an opportunity extended to us if we chose to–we signed a sheet and got the credit. I did not report that I had credit from a CSU in my application, nor did I actually attend any classes at the CSU. I had totally forgotten about it. I didn’t actually go to the CSU at all. I’m a little worried-do I have any reason to be? I’ve SIR’ed to Berkeley
I highly doubt it will ever come up, and if it did the explanation is legitimate enough.
You should report it, but it definitely won’t impact you negatively, I don’t think. There’s no possibility of it putting you over on units, is there?
You should report it. The National Student Clearinghouse probably has this information on you. http://www.studentclearinghouse.org
@goldencub It puts me over the limit if I include my AP credits… but those don’t go towards your maximum credit count right? If not, then I should be fine. At any rate, thank you everyone - I will be calling in tomorrow and letting admissions know.
AP units won’t put you over the limit
