as you know CB now has the history questions on the site. i think the form b dbq looks so much easier, the question asked why in 1860 compromise was not possible. the documents seemed like they could actually be used effectively (i had trouble with this on my actual dbq about the revolution).

just wondering, does anyone else agree with me? or did anyone take the form b test?

I LOVED the revolution one. IT was so easy, since I actually paid attention first semester (the beginning) wrote 4 pages. Glad I didnt get 1860 Compromise! :)

Yes, I would much rather have had that DBQ. Also, the Progressive essay in Part C would have been great for me. I'm not sure which Part B question I would have chosen though.

The whole idea that the makeup test is harder musta been a bunch of BS that probably started circulating from teachers themselves so students wouldn't miss.

As much as I'm loving that DBQ, I think I was so much happier with the FRs. Now I don't think you could really say that one or the other was easy, but personally there's nothing I know better than immigration. And I had a lot to say for the sectionalism-expansionism essay, so I find that easier than what I probably would have chosen on form B. Const. vs. Art. of Con. is such an easy topic, because this question is discussed in detail in every history class. But My dream would have been to combine the form B DBQ with regular FRs, although that would mean two essays on period leading up to civil war, which would never happen. Anyway.

I'm sooo glad that I didn't get Form B, it looks much harder to me. Mostly because I didn't study the whole Civil War period so I would have been pretty lost. Love the FR 2 and 3 though, I would totally rule those although they're similar to the ones I did (DBQ and colonial). Don't like the Progressives as much, I studied it a lot because i thought it'd be on the DBQ but I still find the topic boring and hard to describe. And I stay away from any post WWII stuff because I don't study that much at all. I'm glad I took the test at the regular time.

OMG. that is so easy. they had an essay that was like exactly like that before. geez, I wish I had gotten this one.

Hah, I like that Sumner/Brooks cartoon. Overall, B looks way easier to me (especially that DBQ) but A wasn't that bad either so I'm not complaining.
