Format of the SAT?

<p>So I've taken the ACT countless times but I am going to take the SAT this Saturday for the first time. I heard it is 3 sections but split into 10 groups with an essay as the first test. But can anyone give information as to breaks, what order the tests go in, difficulty, scoring and any other basic information to help me?</p>

<p>Also, if you can compare it to the ACT it'd be extremely helpful to me since I am more familiar with it and a comparison between them would help although I do realize the SAT is relatively more difficult.</p>
