Four Year?

So it looks like I’m ending my freshman year with two C’s on my transcript. I still have a 3.6 GPA though. Do I still have a chance of going to a four year right out of high school. I’m not interested in any Ivy League schools but more so like Baylor or Colorado State.

Of course.

Are you for real? There are hundreds of colleges at which a 3.6 is above average. You’ll be fine.

Some of the elite schools don’t look at your freshman year, so for those schools you are still good too.

I haven’t really looked into college acceptances, and it’s hard to get the “only those with a 4.0< get into college” stigma out of my head. I guess I’d also ask how important are my indivual freshman grades?

Your sophomore and junior grades will be the most important.

There are 3,000+ schools out there and one will be very lucky to have you.
