I am planning to take

English R1A
Math 1A
Environmental Science 50 AC
Philosophy 2

Is this too much? Also are these good classes? My SAT scores are 700 math, 680 writing and 690 writing. Ap scores are physics c 5, calc ab 5, calc bc4 , apush 5, apeh 5, ap bio 5.

Could someone help me to determine a math class too? I am plannign to be a econ major.

Can’t you skip Math 1A with that? Take 1B instead. Looks good otherwise.

would you suggest 1b over 16a? i dont really get the difference between the 2

If you’re going to be an Econ major, you have to take 1B. 16A/B are easier and not good enough for Econ.

i have seen a few posts where people suggest taking the a part of the course because grad school does not accept ap credits? should i be worried about that?

No. That’s only med schools and they even accept AP credit for math. So no worries :)

Why isn’t the 16 series for math good enough for Econ?

I’m pre-business and was planning to take the 16 series and have Econ as a back-up major.

Yes, but here is a self-diagnostic test to help you decide which math course to take
