Does anyone have any information on the fraternities at ASU? Particularly, who has the best social life? Any bad reputations?

I saw one fraternity wrote on the facebook wall that they’re the only one NOT on probation, if so that’s probably the best one to look into. Otherwise, log on to the greek chat tomorrow(Jul. 30th at 3 pm) so you can get a better feel for them.

Going to the walkaround and rush events is the only reasonable way of choosing. Don’t choose a house based on reputation or which sororities they do events with, these things change every semester. What doesn’t change, and what will determine your overall happiness, is how compatible you are with the other brothers. Athlete, academic, or overachiever (extracurriculars), there is at least one fraternity that you’d fit in with. Don’t rush the decision, and if you feel unsure, wait until the spring or sophomore year to pledge. Once you are initiated there’s no turning back or joining another fraternity, so choose wisely.
