FREAKING OUT- Senior Year Classes and Units of Study

Hi All,
So I submitted my Notre Dame application Early Action and I am hopeful for a great response. However, I recently noticed that on the Notre Dame Admissions website, it mentions that applicants to the engineering school are required to have 1 unit of Physics and 4 units of English- whole I will fulfill these requirements by the end of the year, I am currently lacking the physics credit, and have only taken three years of English. Please tell me that these classes need only to be completed by the end of senior year, I'm kind of going crazy. Also, if it's not too much trouble, would someone be willing to take a look at my stats and let me know if I have a realistic chance of getting in? Thanks everyone!

Supplemental Rec from parish priest and employer, very good

you look pretty great, honestly. don’t even worry.

I think you really have a great shot of getting in. On their website FAQ, someone had the same question. As long as you indicate your intention to complete it before entering fall 2014 it’s fine, even if it’s a summer course. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Wow, you are really worrying too much! Well, my daughter is currently in Engineering at ND, got in EA last year, was doing AP physics her senior year as well. And how would ANYONE have four years of High School English completed in the middle of their senior year? You certainly will have a great chance for EA admission to ND, just a few more days till you hear. Relax!

Thanks for all the calming responses, I was definitely in a nerve-fueled confusion when I made this post, and looking back at it the fact that I was worried about having 4 English classes before my senior is kind of silly. Best of luck to anyone else applying, and see you on the other side!
