Freaking Out

Okay so I'm taking the Math II subject test next week, and I've been using the Barron's book for a couple of days now. It's not going too well.

I always thought I was pretty good at math, but my scores on these practice tests are freaking me out. I've heard that a 650 or so on Barron's is potentially a 800 on the real thing, but my scores aren't even that high.

I got a 505 on the diagnostic test, and I just took the first practice test and got a 550.

Do I have any chance of getting a 750+?? Any tips on how to improve? :/

Frankly speaking, if you are taking it next week then there is no point trying to buy any more prep books. Do the real tests and see how many you get

Well, take detailed lessons from any source you can find to solve your problems. Having trouble with matrices, for example? Review the heck out of them.

If it’s just silly mistakes, then keep practicing!

LOL XD
I got a 300 on the first diagnostic test cause I couldn’t remember anything. After going through the book, took a practice test and got 670 BUT i kept going when time ran out(had about 10 questions left).

I’m jut going to finish these practice tests, review what I can, get the real tests and do those, do my best on Saturday and keep my books around in case of a retake.

That’s all we can do! :)

Where do you get the real exams?
