Freaking out!

I sent in my common app today to a school, and I went through the whole application to make sure that I had made no mistakes. I seriously combed through the whole thing. Well, when I was reading over it again just now I realized that I had checked the wrong essay question. Instead of clicking the "evaluate a specific experience" question, I clicked the "describe a character in fiction" character for whatever reason, and I can't believe that I over looked this. Now I am in a bind. I'm not sure what to do. Do I email the school and tell them that I made a mistake? Or do I just let it go, because it is pretty obvious from reading the essay that it's an "evaluate a specific experience". I have two other schools that I have to use the common app for, but three others are on the SUNY app, so I don't have to use the common app for that. Please help! I'm honestly panicking right now, and I will probably lose sleep over this until I can talk to my counselor tomorrow morning.

I wouldn’t freak out over this. Little mistake, no big deal.

Thanks! I talked to my counselor this morning, and she said it was no big deal. I was thankfully able to change it for the rest of my applications, so that’s good.

Even though it’s definitely not a big deal, you should probably email the school about it just to let them know-.
