Free period hurt admission chances?

Right now I'm looking at whether or not to have a first block free or not. Our school runs on a block schedule so only 4 classes a day. At the moment my schedule looks like this:
1st: Undecided
2nd: AP Calc AB
3rd: AP Literature/
AP Government
4th: AP Chem

I cant decide whether or not to have a free block in first period or switch it to something else. Most classes are full and the only class available is called Marketing which a complete slack class and wouldn't help me with anything. The free block would help with homework and studying but I'm afraid that it will look bad to U.Va. admissions (where I reallyyyyy want to go) if I have an empty block despite the 4 other AP classes I'm taking this semester alone. Any thoughts or opinions?

It looks like you have an ambitious schedule.

A free block, while certainly not a ‘plus’, probably won’t be much of a ‘minus’ either.
