I was recently accepted to UMDCP. I got my letter in the mail along with a car magnet. I was wondering if there was anything else you get once your accepted like a free tshirt or something?

Ha ha…yes, you get more than a magnet after you commit to attending. At orientation, you get several t-shirts and this past year they gave a University of Maryland Class of 2016 drawstring bag.

Plus you will get literally tons of free t-shirts in your four years here if you go to games or even just events. I am a junior and I think I received 15 free t-shirts in my freshman year alone (counting orientation shirts), and I have probably around 30 total so far.

Ha Ha, I am a sophomore, and I have to separate my laundry into whites, darks and REDS! the water is totally red when I’m done, from all the Tshirts I’ve got since 2011!

For the game tonite at 6 pm (watch it, against DUKE), we got ANOTHER RED Tshirt!
more freebies fyi @ jterjensen, lol!

I have been here a semester and I have about 10 shirts already lol

What color did u get? I would have wanted yellow, for some reason I always end with red! But who cares, what a GAME!

I also got red. I could of sat in the yellow section but I always sit to the left of the Turgeonites. I like my seat :)

I got a yellow one from the UVA game anyway the week prior.

Depending on where one sat he/she would have received yellow/red/white/black “M” pride shirt.

I like mine too. I was 5th row behind the players, great seats, easy access to storm the court.

Dude you must of been behind the Turgeonites? You were like right next to me lol… I was across the aisle from Scott Van Pelt.

I’ve gotten a ton of shirts, but I wouldn’t call any of it ~free~. I’m sure the school has found a way to charge us all in the tuition.

We do pay student activities fees but I believe the shirts are actually paid for by outside sources.

That is why they all have advertising on the back haha

haha, Terpguy, yeah, I was to the left of the Turgeonites, about 7 seats away. It was so much fun at the cost of having to be in line (taking turns of course) since 6 am, but I wasn’t going to miss it for anything. I knew I had to read, HW but the Game was too important to miss! Such a sweet victory. Now they really have to win to Boston College though.
