freshman civil engin scheduling questions

im an incoming freshman in civil engineering and i have a couple of scheduling questions</p>

<li><p>is it better to take chem1a or physics 7a the first semester?
or does it matter?</p></li>
<li><p>which classes should i sign up for in phase 1?</p></li>
</ol>

<p>e10, physics 7a, civil engin seminar ce92, or my r&c course?</p>

<ol>
<li>does taking advance chinese cover the r&c requirement?</li>
</ol>

<li>A lot of people choose chem1a first semester then physics 7a in spring. although i prefer the other way around since there are no pre-med students in chem 1a in the spring.</li>
<li>physics 7a (or chem1a) and your r&c for sure.</li>
<li>no, foreign language won’t cover your r&c.</li>
