I am an incoming freshman for the fall of 2017. I am also and undecided major. What classes are recommended i take my freshman fall semester?
I would recommend taking some of the guaranteed basics, like those you’ll find in Gen-Ed Core, [which you can find by clicking here](Program: Core Curriculum Requirement Effective Fall 2014 - Texas Tech University - Acalog ACMS™).
For example,
ENGL 1301, 1302 (English comp and rhetoric)
POLS 1301, 2306 (American and Texas Government)
HIST 2300, 2301 (American History)
COMS 2301 (Speech)
MATH (At least 6 hours)
Any science with lab (4 hours per class typically)
This gives you quite a few options to consider for your freshman year in its entirety rather than just fall semester, but DO be thinking about what you want to major in. I know a girl who spent three years undecided at a private university and wasted a ton of her parents’ money. Granted, she did graduate this past year, but it took her a while as she just took a whole bunch of classes for the hell of it.
