@xfiona thanks, there’s virtually nothing online about it. its good to hear it has a partying reputation, coughs not like im gonna be doing that anyways :x :)

Does Stetson West have a/c? Would you recommend bringing a fan?

I’m pretty sure there is no AC in Stetson West. I didn’t live there, but I think a fan would probably be a good idea (especially with all the humidity).

how hot is hot? im from Houston so hot for me is like 95 and above…

heh. If you’re from houston you won’t have much trouble with the heat in Boston. We don’t usually get above 95, and when we do there is massive freaking out.

Most of the older dorms don’t have AC. Unless you’re in IV definitely bring a fan.

It shouldn’t be HOT hot, but you can probably count on it being very humid in September (and perhaps even in April before move-out).

okay sounds good :)

Can we bring an air conditioner to our room? Maybe just one that stands up and has a tube that goes out the window?

You can’t bring an air conditioner, it’s against fire code. If it has anything “going out” the window, they’ll see it and hunt you down. Seriously, you’ll be fine with a fan. It cools off by the end of September (so maybe 3 weeks maximum of slightly uncomfort) and doesn’t heat back up until the last week of april SOMETIMES. A friend of mine has been in a non-AC room all summer and they survived well enough, so you will do absolutely fine for three weeks.
