freshman dorms??

Thanks for the info! I’m going to try and apply for a single in a 5-person suite. If you don’t get the room you applied for, are you randomly put into another room?

You’re welcome!

I believe so. If you fail to be selected for your preferred housing assignment, you get put wherever they can fit you. I’m not exactly sure how the freshman housing selection thing works now, I never did it myself because I got accepted into special-interest housing (Goddard STAND UP haha), so I don’t know if you can literally pick “single within a suite” as your preference.

Haha ok thanks :)

So if I apply to Goddard and am rejected, will they still look at my first choice dorm, or are they just going to put me wherever there’s room?

I have a question about the arrangement of the rooms. The three dorms I’m most interested in are Hayden, Founders, and Third North. From looking at pictures, it looks like the set up (bed and desk placement) are pretty standard in founders and third north while Hayden has different arrangements which (in my opinion) make them feel less “dormy”
I ask because I LIKE the arrangement of Hayden but really want the kitchen in third north. Anyone have any perspective on how the rooms are arranged in each dorm? Is is by student choice or are they set up before students get there with no allowance for rearrangement? How much have people in third north appreciated having the kitchen?

Any opinion or advice is much appreciated. THANKS!

I know this is kind of a dumb question but I just need to ask, In your opinion what residence hall has the cutest guys? And why do you think Founders has a lot of Asians?
