<p>The problem is that typically you get routed through the HR/staffing department which is complete hell. I was fortunate to contact a partner of the firm directly for an interview (a real interview not some "Whats your passion" type questions).</p>
<p>You really should try and talk to the person that you wanna intern for, outside of work. Like for example try to see if you know anyone who anyone that works at the place you wanna intern for.</p>
