<p>Jess, drinking is pretty prevalent, yet there are tons of people who aren't into drinking, too. There are dorms with substance-free floors, and if you don't drink, you might meet some like-minded friends there. </p>
<p>My son is a sophomore at A&M, and we are from Texas. I think there are times when it is hard for out-of-staters. For instance, in the fall when you have a non-football game weekend, a lot of people might head home leaving the out-of-staters feeling kind of lonely in C.S.</p>
