Hello all,

I'm a senior most likely going to TCNJ this fall. I'm finishing my senior year off with precalculus. If I go to TCNJ, I'll be placed in precalc. I was wondering, instead of taking precalc again, which is considered lower level, could I take something like Math 101 for Liberal Arts? My major right now is english. I don't think I'll ever need calculus....

There's a strong possibility I may change my major to undeclared in Culture & Society. Would this require me to take precalc? I just really don't want to take a lower level class that doesn't count for any credits if I'm not going to need to take calc.

Thanks!

What was your Math SAT score? If its high enough I believe they will place you in Calculus A

Doesn’t look like English majors need to take pre-calc, so yeah you probably could take a math you find more interesting to satisfy your quantitative reasoning liberal learning requirement.

Here’s the list of classes that can satisfy that requirement:

Here are the program planners, just find your major.
