I just found out I got a 4 on my AP English, so I don't have to take English 3 in the fall. I'm an engineering major and plan to take Math 31B and Chem 20A. I need ideas for a GE class to take in addition.

there was a thread that has a whole list of "easy" GE's, if that's what you're looking for

or you can get ahead with physic 1A, because it is a hassle trying to get it at winter quarter as all the other engineers needs to take it and the spots will fill up pretty quick then

History 2c looks like a really easy class for Fall.

^not only is history 2C and extremely easy GE, the professor (Ruiz) will be one of the best you will probably take at UCLA.

i thought Corbin is the best haha

take classics 20!! or 51b!! the romans are fabulous

How is the class for History 2c structured? Who's taken it before?

i agree with corbin being the best proff ;D

crapppp i haven't posted here in like ages

well i will be in corbin's class in 30 days... scared as heck...

women's studies.

Arts and Arch 10

Classics 10 or 20 will be a mixed bag depending on who's your professor... I've had friends who either loved/hated/annoyed [by] it.

I would recommend History 9E with Woods and I've heard good things about Ruiz and History 2C. Southeast Asian Studies with Woods should be good too.

I recommend Sander M. Goldberg.

history of rock and roll

definitely take a history class with ruiz!

^ Have you taken Hist 2c with Ruiz? If so, how was it?
