Freshman SAT

I'm a freshman and I took the SAT a few months ago, and got a 1760. What will my score most likely be by senior year? Is 2100-2200 a realistic goal?

That goal is reasonable. Just start practicing now with the blue book and direct hits. After just about 3 months you possibly could be scoring in the low 2000s. I know from past experience.

A 1760 is a strong score for a freshman, considering that some of the questions involve math that most freshmen have yet to learn. You’re well on your way to a high score. Pay attention in class, do a practice test from time to time, read, use good grammar, and your score will rise by the time the SAT matters.

That’s an AMAZING score! From freshman year to sophomore year, I jumped about 300 points. So it’s definitely doable (:

Wow I didn’t realize 1760 was a good freshman score. I’ve seen freshmen on college confidenial getting like 2000, and thought mine was relatively mediocre is comparison. Sorry if I’m starting to sound narcisstic, but do you think It’s possible for me to get over 2200-how likely/unlikely.

Ehh, I went from a 1600 freshman year to a 2280 senior year. Definitely doable.

It’s doable, but a 400-500 point jump is not going to be easy. Study hard and study often, and you’ll be well on your way to a 2100+.
