Freshman SummerPrograms

Hi- I'm a freshman this year and I REALLY need help finding a summer program. I have a large interest in neuroscience, but I'm interested in any science programs besides engineering(unless it is biomedical engineering). Price is an issue, so are there any free ones? Its also important that it is on the east coast, and it has to be a residential program Does anyone know of any programs? I am a minority female and I live in NY. I know this may be a lot to ask, but I would prefer if the program were to be held on a prestigious campus. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Check out Physics of Atomic Nuclei (PAN) program at both Michigan State and Notre Dame. It’s free if admitted. My son attended summer after junior year. Caveat: I believe they most likely give preference to rising Juniors and Seniors - so maybe something for next year for you. No cost to attend though - although you will need to pay for transportation to/from. You might also look at the offerings from RPI - they have a lot of STEM programs - most around a week - that run around $1,500 - WPI also has summer offerings that are reasonable.
