Freshman Transfer Needs Advice

Okay so I pretty much I was a F*** up in high school graduated with a 2.0 and had a 1430 in the SATs (500 Math/ 430 Verball) Alright so I went to St.Johns University since it was the best university I got into and I thought it'd be easier to transfer to a university to university then from Community college to university. So I changed my attitude and pulled off a 3.44 for my first semester. I dont know where I want to transfer to since I dont want to get my hopes up and not get in anywhere. What would be a list of good schools on the east coast which has alot of majors to choose from but also is good in business. See I'm Undecided in what my major will be but I'm really getting interested in business/finance feild. Also if anyone would give me my chances of getting into Rutgers University NB? Also would it be wise to transfer next year my sophomore year or wait till junior year. Also I was thinking of maybe taking some winter session classes or summer session classes but that wouldn't be smart would it since I wouldn't be sure if those courses would even transfer.

u from niketalk.com?

Yeah I post on ALOT of forums Under DJP and my other name JCASH.

500+430=1430???

Well 1430 on the New SATS But most people only care about the old sat scores so I just provided my math and verbal. Sorry for making it unclear

Bump Please

you could probably apply to some 50+ schools, but as a soph. transfer most schools will look 50/50 at HS and college GPA and will still want SAT, and since your HS GPA is low and your SATs arnt stellar, you dont have much leeway since you only have a 3.44....a college 3.44 and a 3.6+ HS GPA could get you to more top schools, or a 3.5 college GPA applying for junior transfer...
so, since you'd fall into the second category, i'd boost that GPA and try for junior transfer if you want a top school...
then again, i'd apply to schools, and who knows, you might get in

stay at SJU 2 years, your HS GPA is too low to be considered anywhere competitive for a soph transfer

I dont really know what schools I would want to apply to and have atleast a shot. Would it be even worth it to maybe take the SATs over again. Or maybe apply winter of sophomore year. The only reason I really want to transfer is because I dont like living at home because I have no freedom, and I want to go to a more accredited school.

no love for me???

Don't worry, many schools admit based on a sliding scale, where the higher you g.p.a the lower your SAT scores can be. Take it from someone who applied for transfer admission to SUNY at Buffalo while a Freshman at Temple, it is possible just do your research. you can start by visiting the following website:
