<p>On the Cornell Freshman Writing Seminars site, it says The deadline for FWS ballot is August 9, 2009?
Last year, it was August 24. The new freshman students in ILR and maybe Hotel won't even know their schedules at that time? What is going on with registration this year? How can you fill out a ballot without knowing your whole schedule and AP scores, to put together an appropriate schedule? Why was this changed?</p>
