How does the ballot thing work? Do you just pick 5 and then Cornell automatically puts you in one of them? Does it matter if you fill your ballot earlier/later than other students (like pre-enrolling for classes where if you're late, the class you want might be filled)? If so, should I be up and ready at midnight? Lastly, how can I view where each FWS takes place? I don't want one too far away from the class I have before/after it.

Students submit five choices: nearly 50% receive their first choice; fewer than 5% receive their last.
Try to locate your FWS options in the roster: [Cornell University Registrar: Course and Time Roster Fall 2010](http://registrar.sas.cornell.edu/courses/roster/FA10/). Most - if not all - indicate locations.
