<p>How hard is it to get a summer internship with some type of business firm (probably something finance or management geared... not entirely sure which I'll be pursuing in college yet) after your freshman year? I want to try and find a summer internship between freshman and sophomore year so I don't have to go back home and take a non-business related job. I'm not sure how internships work for college students but it would be great to get some experience early in my college career.</p>

<p>negativity meh.....In this economy, many businesses can not afford to pay anybody......but try to find a business/company where you will shadow or do an UNPAID internship, betcha it won't be as hard as skybax thinks it will be.....hit the pavement; you'll get something to put on a resume....</p>
